Before leaving Paris we had a really fun party to say to goodbye friends that we might not see again, to meet new friends and to spend time with good pals. I set up a photo booth in the hallway to record some fun times.  I also shot some portraits on film that will trickle in later.

sadly this blog is going into retirement soon. we will be taking off for two weeks starting sunday because the CENTQUATRE closes for holiday and will be traveling to the unknown without internet or computer screens for awhile. lots of love and will be back soon.

Nature framed. Humans framed.

I have had a structure for my film for about a month now, but had started to doubt what I had created. Last night when I started explaining it over to dinner to a new acquaintance, he rejuvenated and brought to light (no pun in intended!!!) what I had subconsciously created. After drawing it out, we could see that I had created a structure that oscillates back and forth between light and dark, just like a wave in a way (crests and troughs) and the wave slowly unravels as the film progresses.

i am preparing to re-shoot this series (about images) with black and white film. the days are counting down until i can't use this space for two weeks.

i just came back from two days in telford, england where I am starting another project with my friend mileece. we are making a series of videos about renewable energy and most of the inspiration comes from her dad's fuel cell company. i just spent 48 hours with some of the smartest people i have ever met on the planet. the world is changing inside of SC013. more to come about that.
